Nipple correction or areola correction addresses an inverted or oversized nipple, or a bothersome areola diameter.

How does the procedure work?

An inverted nipple can be corrected through a small incision at the base of the nipple by dividing fibrous bands and placing supportive self-dissolving sutures.

An oversized nipple can be reduced by removing a portion. The areola can be adjusted with an incision around it to achieve the desired diameter.

Inverted nipple

Fibrous bands are released and self-dissolving sutures support projection.

Nipple or areola

An oversized nipple or areola can be selectively reduced.
